Victoria Hamilton and Jonathan Firth play Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in this
beautiful film. I had never heard of these actors prior to seeing this movie, but was captivated by their authentic performances. This is a great film to watch anytime, but particularly on a Sunday afternoon if you would like to see something very extraordinary and uplifting. It portrays the royal couple realistically, and includes their early married life in a way that makes you feel like they had to learn to trust each other just like everybody else. It also shows how their love matured and grew into an even deeper appreciation and commitment. I have recommended this movie to several family members and friends and they have all agreed that it was a wonderful movie. This would make a great gift for "the romantic," but even Brandon enjoyed it and would recommend it.
