We watched the making of this album on TV last night and it was so wonderful. The guest musicians include: Diana Krall, Chris Botti, Allison Krauss, James Taylor and others who contribute to a beautiful album. Not all of the songs are light and Jazzy, some of them such as "A Christmas Jig" have an upbeat, Celtic-fiddle sound to them, like something you'd hear off of the "Riverdance" soundtrack. My favorite is the "The Wassail Song" arrangement. This would be a great gift for your friend who likes Jazz and Classical music. Watch the promo video here. Shop or listen to samples here.
