Lynden

Brandon works 1 day a week in a little town north of us called Lynden. This is a beautiful, cozy Dutch town. This second picture is of the Lynden Dutch Bakery, located on Front St. My favorite sandwich is a turkey and tomato on croissant and then I really like to choose something from their wide selection of handmade, delicious desserts. They have an almond cookie that would go perfectly with a hot chocolate. This last picture shows you what the weather can look like here. But most days, the fog clears out by noon and then it's just overcast. A good place to go in Lynden for lunch or dinner is Milt's Pizza. We had the BBQ Chicken pizza, which was really good. They also have a dessert pizza I'd like to try sometime. Brandon works with the owner's wife, Linda. They are a really nice couple. He does most of the cooking, she does most of the decorating; it's that kind of place. In the summer, they show movies outdoors on Saturday nights. Admission is free and popcorn $1; can't beat that! Milt's Pizza is a great family restaurant, so don't hesitate to go if you have small children.

Those are beautiful pictures. I think that looks like a charming town. But the weather, looks a little dreary. Although it also looks pretty.
