Delicious Cupcakes

Brandon and I took it easy this weekend. Saturday, we waited for almost 2 hours to get his driver’s license. Then we ran around doing a bunch of errands. We ate dinner at Luis’s Mexican Restaurant over by Albertson’s off of the Meridian. We loved the burritos and the bean dip, but not the salsa. We like eating at Mexican restaurants because they are always so generous with chips and salsa and large portions so you can enjoy dinner and then take home some for lunch the next day. Saturday night I got very uncomfortable in my tummy and legs and so I wasn’t able to get much sleep. So I got up at 3 AM and made these cupcakes instead! I really like how they turned out. They were my birthday present from me to me (I turn 28 this week). I have already eaten 3 this morning. This cupcake bonanza is getting a little out of hand. Sunday, because of being so tired from several nights in a row not sleeping, I skipped church and slept the whole morning and afternoon. Brandon went home teaching and then we spent some time in the nursery hanging this wedding picture that we recently framed (Michael’s is having a 50% off sale on custom framing) and this red, chalkboard. We covered the chalkboard with cute pictures for Gloria to see when she finally gets here in April. One of the things we put on it was a cute baby shower invitation my mom and dad made for me using a picture of me swinging when I was a little girl. I thought they turned out so cute and I'm excited to go back to Utah next week to visit my mom and sisters.

Yummy looking cupcakes! Sorry you haven't been feeling great. I missed you at church on Sunday. Hopefully you'll at least feel better on your birthday! Hope it's a good one!

Will there be any cupcakes when Bryan and I come home teaching this month? The quality of our message and visit may hinge on this. Sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. Do you and Brandon need anything (i.e. meals, cupcakes, cookies, ...)? Have fun in
Utah.

those cupcakes look delicious. it's very mean that you post them, instead of send them to my house. :)
sorry you are uncomfortable. i remember getting that way toward the end. it's just another sign that the end is near and your getting closer to holding that precious baby girl in your arms!
