Shalise showed me this beautiful walkway and waterfall in Whatcom Falls Park. It is hard to believe that Brandon and I live so close to such a beautiful waterfall! I had no idea. This weekend was especially nice because we enjoyed two days of glorious sunshine, which we really needed. I remember last summer when we were looking for a place to live and we were really impressed with how beautiful Whatcom County was and how sunny and nice it seemed. We were told that it rained a lot here, and it really hasn't been too bad but the unusual snowfall and flooding had us wondering, "Where did we move to?!" We are really looking forward to the Spring and Summer months.

Those parks are pretty. They will be more fun to go to in the summer when it is warm. How close are they to your house.
How fun to have so many beautiful parks close by! You are lucky you got some sunshine. We've had smog, fog, and rain. I would love to see the sun again.
