Seattle Temple

Brandon and I enjoyed our visit to the Seattle Temple on Saturday. There are some bushes planted in front of the main entrance that are the same Grandma and Grandpa had in front of their house in Salt Lake, so when I smelled them I thought of my grandparents. I thought the interior was very beautiful. Brandon told me that the layout is similar to the Jordan River Utah Temple. I loved the warm colors and beautiful chairs I saw in several of the rooms. Overall, it took us about 1 and a 1/2 hours to drive there. We were very hungry after our session and so we stopped to get dinner at the Maple Leaf Restaurant. We were impressed with the friendly service. I liked the fish tank and the linen table cloths and napkins. The manager himself asked us if we liked our food; he was very friendly and had a good sense of humour. It's a good place to fill you up after you do service at the temple because it's pretty quiet and you can sit in a private booth and talk. The food is pretty good too.

That is a nice temple. I went there for a sealing for a family that adopted a little girl from China.
