Lindsay W. tagged me, which means you get to hear some things about my husband Brandon.

Where we met: While I was in the Centerville Singles’ Ward, I went to a New Years’ Eve party at my friend Adam’s house and saw Brandon there. He was living in AZ at the time on a rotation, but I thought I liked him so much that a few days after the party, I asked Adam to give me his phone number.

How long we dated before we got hitched: I called Brandon in AZ and introduced myself and he remembered me (vaguely) from Adam’s party. We talked a little and decided to talk again sometime. We talked on the phone January through May, until he accepted a residency in Utah in June. We dated steady from June through November when we got engaged and then we married in April.

How long have we been married: We have been married a little over nine months.

What's my favorite feature about him: I am in love with every inch. I couldn’t narrow it down to one feature. I especially love his beautiful eyes and dark hair, and the first thing that attracted me to him was his voice. But I love everything about him so it’s hard to say.

What's my favorite quality about him: He is so kind to me and he has the ability to make me laugh even if my mood is decidedly against it. He’s happy in the morning. He doesn’t complain. He’s a good example to me and I have to write that I love his work ethic (inside joke). But I really do think he has a good work ethic.

What's his nickname for me: I love his nickname for me so much that to keep it special, I won't share it.

His favorite color: He loves blue.

His favorite food: Brandon likes a variety of food. I think his favorite is Mexican, but he likes Thai as well. He loves his mother’s taco soup. But one thing I love about Brandon is that he makes awesome French toast and grilled cheese sandwiches.

His favorite sport: He loves basketball, and especially likes the Utah Jazz. But he watches a little football, too. Brandon likes to go running and jump rope.

Who said the L word first: Although I don’t remember how it came up, I’m totally sure that I said it first.

First kiss when and where: Do we have to have just one? My favorite first kiss with Brandon occurred when we were slow dancing in my apartment. Oh yeah. And I still like to kiss him while slow dancing.

Favorite couple thing to do: I like to do just about anything, as long as I’m with Brandon. It’s not as easy to get out and do things when I don’t feel good, but hopefully that isn’t permanent.

How many kids: We are expecting our first baby in April, a little girl!

His hidden talent: He can whistle with his mouth closed (inside joke).

His age: He's as young as he feels.

His favorite music: Brandon has an open mind about music. He likes anything that is beautiful or just sounds good. He doesn’t like it too loud or too cheesy, just upbeat with a good sound to it.

What I admire most about him: He’s a real man; the self-made kind. He is very smart and has a great memory. He’s actually more romantic than I have ever given him credit for, but don’t tell him I told you *wink*. At the time I met Brandon, I had worked myself up to be the kind of girl that could not be impressed with any guy and for me it was love at first sight; so I would say that I admire him because he really got through to a place in my heart that I thought was dead and gone. And I fall more and more in love with him with each passing day.

His favorite pastimes: He likes to watch the Utah Jazz, go hiking and/or camping, and he recently went fishing.

Will he read his: Yes, and I’m sure he’ll blush a couple of times.
