27 Weeks

Brandon and I enjoyed the talks and music at Stake Conference, especially the musical talents of the Mumfords. We were so impressed with their young sons' singing! We enjoyed gathering with so many Latter-day Saints; the large stake center was bursting at the seams and I said to Brandon (based on the attendance at the conference) that I really think there will be 2 stakes in Whatcom County within 5 years. After conference, I celebrated 27 weeks into my pregnancy by feeling very sick and uncomfortable starting Sunday afternoon and continuing through today. I haven't been as sick since my 1st trimester and I am looking more and more forward to April. This is what baby-gaga.com says about 27 weeks: "Your not-so-tiny-anymore brilliant baby(about 2 pounds and 14.5 inches long!)...little lungs are already capable of breathing air while the pulmonary vascular system can provide sufficient gas exchange and the central nervous system can generally regulate rhythmic breathing as well as their basal body temperature. For what it’s worth, at this point in a healthy pregnancy a premature child (with intensive care) could easily win on the show..." Aside from feeling sick, I am excited planning for this new little girl to come. I created a baby registry at Target and bought a ticket to fly home for a baby shower in late February! I am really looking forward to seeing my mom and sisters again.

Hey,cute picture. I am sorry you are sick. When are you coming so I can get start sending out the invitations. Hope you get to feeling better. I was so tired on Sunday I actually took a nap. We went to Aaron's wedding on Saturday. It was fun to see all of Lela's kids. Then we took Jessica shopping and brought her a pretty coat. It was on a incredible sale. It was a two hundred dollar coat and we got it for fifty. It is a berry color and wool and has a pleat and tab down the bag. It is short and looks really nice on her.
