My hair had a meltdown. I've been using whatever was cheapest since I moved to Washington and thought to myself, "there's no difference, really." And for the most part, I believe that can be true. But I have found that hard water and bad shampoo and conditioner can cause hair to meltdown. I woke up one morning to limp, greasy, stringy, sad hair. I thought that I just didn't rinse it well after conditioning, or maybe it was pregnancy hormones causing the extra buildup. So the next morning, I took extra care to shampoo and condition my hair and I only made the problem worse-much worse! And for the first time in a long time, I was in a hair panic. I decided I needed to splurge on something great to fix this mess. I like to keep an open mind about hair care and like things because I have a tendency to get stuck on certain products if I don't force myself to branch out. So I went out hunting for fix-my-hair-meltdown shampoo and I found this great shampoo at a beauty supply store in Sunset Square. It is All-Nutrient's "Active Clarifying Shampoo." Here is what their website says about this shampoo: "Unlike typical clarifying shampoos that rely on strong detergents, ACT Shampoo combines a plant-derived cleansing system of unparalleled mildness with unique chelating agents to remove minerals such as iron, calcium, copper and manganese from hard water. Also removes compounds of chlorine, bromine, and iodine from swimming in pools. In addition, proteins, vitamins and essential fatty acids nourish your hair leaving it healthy, shiny and manageable. " Besides having to look up the word "chelating" on dictionary.com (although looking it up didn't clarify it for me), I have found all that and more to be true! In fact, I hardly need any conditioner and my hair turns out clean and soft to my satisfaction. The only thing I don't agree with is the price. If you can find me a similar product for less I'd be grateful! Another shampoo I really like is Kenra's Moisturizing Shampoo.

Now you need to tell me if you liked after 2 weeks of use. I think that is a good amount of time to fully asses the quality. P.S. I just cut my hair and I can't wait to show it to you.
I love your product recommendations. In fact, I've been meaning to ask you for some eye shadow tips. I haven't worn it for years, but I think I'd like to. What color do you think?
This is for Shalise: it's been about 2 weeks, and I still LOVE the shampoo! Probably even more than when I first tried it.
