I was curious about how much weight I've gained while being pregnant but when I stood on the scale, I couldn't see over my enormous, pregnant belly to read it. Since then, I've been brainstorming different ways to measure my weight gain. There's the obvious methods: a) weighing on a scale (just tried that one, didn't work) or b) using a measuring tape. Since I don't have a measuring tape, I considered the not-so-obvious methods: testing the floorboards to see whether or not I fall through, asking Brandon to carry me up the stairs and then rate his back pain on a scale of 1 to 10, looking at a profile view of myself in the mirror, or letting myself fall backwards on the floor and see how deep the crater is. None of these methods sounded great to me, so I turned to the Internet and I found this guy. He's got it down. The best nonstandard way to measure my weight gain is to find a swimming pool, do a belly flop off the diving board and ask those looking on to measure the height of the splash. This will be great for me since I woke up this morning craving the smell of chlorine.

I think a belly flop would really hurt. My suggestion- wait until brandon come home and have him read the scale.
Shalise you are a genius! I only wish you had told me that before I did the crater thing. I think I need crutches now...and a new kitchen floor!
he he eh! that's hilarious!!!! you could always get brandon to look at the scale for you :-D
.. Do you know if the airborne is okay to take while pregnant? We have some, I just haven't taken it because I'm unsure on how safe it is during pregnancy..
