Favorite Things

It's raining again and I am sitting inside, hoping for better weather. It reminds me of this scene from "The Sound of Music" where the kids are pouting because of the rain and their governess tells them to think of their favorite things. Here are some of my favorite things varying from beauty products to cleaning supplies to books, music and movies. This is just for fun.

Ottmar Liebert Nouveau Flamenco: I love classical guitar and this is my recommendation if you are just getting into it or want to try it out, very romantic and perfect for a scenic drive in the mountains

Sunset: great magazine for healthful recipes and vacation destinations in the west

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: favorite book
The Great Gatsby: another one of my favorite books
The Killers Sam's Town: this has been my favorite pick-me-up CD for a few years, I love the vocalist and the poly-harmonic sound of the loud instrumentals
The Nutcracker Royal Ballet: great performance of this classic ballet, the music and costumes are so beautiful
The Phantom of the Opera: if you haven't read it, it is fantastic and a real page turner
The Princess & The Goblin: great fantasy for young readers, I have loved this book since I can remember
The Poetry of Robert Frost: Robert Frost is the greatest American poet, I highly recommend his poetry
