Cassie and Vicky were so nice to throw me a beautiful, baby shower.
Shalise made these pretty invitations in pink and chocolate brown and did such a great job (you can see them on Gloria's blog). The food was delicious and I really had a lot of fun getting to know these girls better and just talking about movies, husbands, and babies. It was so nice of everyone to come. I know it is hard to break away from family, especially on a Saturday morning. Look at how pretty Melissa's blue eyes are in this picture!
Shalise and Sam have such pretty smiles in this picture. I was so lucky to move here and meet all of these girls. I think I'd be pretty lonely without them. They have been good friends and examples. I really enjoy attending our ward where there are so many nice folks to share this new experience of starting out with Brandon and me. Kaitlyn is so hard core. She came to my baby shower on her due date. How cool is that for a friend?

This picture makes me laugh. I'm sure I'm saying something very profound here, and totally ignoring the fact that I have an enormous belly. It's interesting to me to look at myself pregnant; this is not how I usually stand (with locked knees and leaning forward). Funny.

What great friends to throw you a baby shower! Can I just tell you how cute you look pregnant? Where is the baby - U are barely showing! Aren't U do next month? You look fantastic!!!! Congrats to you and Brandon :)
Sorry I missed your shower. I REALLY wanted to go, but had already made arragments to go to the Temple with Shaun (on a Saturday that he doesn't work). It looks like you had a lot of fun...and tastey treats!
i had a blast and was really glad i went! it was so fun...
i also can't wait for the day when i can look at those pictures of me and say man i was really fat then, haha. instead i just look in the mirror and say, wow i look the same if not fatter.
