Brandon and I are so happy to announce the arrival of our baby. Many moms and dads express that having a child born is one of the most spiritual experiences of their lives. I would say that is true. Because it was such a special experience for us, I think I will share my feelings with Brandon and Gloria. But I did want to express my faith in God and gratitude toward Him for his goodness, mercy and especially love. I felt very cared for by my Father in Heaven throughout my pregnancy and particularly this weekend. While she was being born, I felt overwhelmingly that God knew of Brandon, me and our baby. I felt like He was very happy to bless our lives with a healthy, baby girl and that it was a happy day for Him to be able to do that for us. When I have worried about Gloria, especially in regards to getting the proper amount of food and being healthy, I have remembered how I felt when she was born and it has reassured me that everything will be fine with her health. I have had some difficulty learning to breastfeed and managing normal pain and emotions that new moms experience. I have felt very close to Brandon through this experience and we both are completely in love with our little baby. Brandon has a week off to take care of Gloria and me. Then, my mom is going to visit from Utah for about a week. Soon after, Brandon’s mom is going to visit. We feel very thankful to our family and friends for their help and support throughout this pregnancy, for the many gifts and phone calls and expressions of love and concern for my health. We appreciated so much the delicious enchiladas, salad and cookies that Shaun and Lindsay W. brought to us in the hospital; it truly was the best we ate all weekend. We also received a beautiful, Easter bouquet from Trevor and Kaitlyn H. that I especially enjoyed because I love flowers so much. When we got home, there was an adorable, Easter package from my mom with a gorgeous card and delicious candy. Click

Samantha says: She is so precious! I know what you mean when you mentioned how blessed you feel. When I hold little Andrew, I know that Heavenly Father is aware of us too. I also had difficulties getting breastfeeding going, but as of day 12 Andrew and I are getting better and better. Just keep at it. Do you have a Boppy? That has made all the difference for me.
Jon says: We just read your blog on the big screen and when we were talking about it Andrew woke up. I held him up so he could see the screen and he said, "Wowza she's a looker." He's anxious to meet baby Gloria someday, wink, wink... Wow, what an exciting trip you guys had that night, that was a great story.
Brandon don't you know your supposed to speed until you're pulled over and after they realize she's in labor the police will give you a siren escort to the Hospital?
Congratulations on your new little Gloria. You will make such a great mother. I wish you all the happiness in the world. If you wouldn't mind I would love to see your baby blog. karenbarkley29@gmail.com
Hey, does that hospital gown have puffy sleeves. That is great! You look beautiful and your baby is so cute.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of the neat women at Mt. Baker Vision Clinic for throwing me a beautiful baby shower on Friday. Also, to Shaun and Lindsay for dinner and Trevor and Kaitlyn for flowers. Shalise is bringing dinner tonight and Vashti is bringing dinner Thursday night. We are so thankful for our good friends here. We are so lucky and appreciate you all so much.
Yes Mom, puff sleeves. It's funny. They didn't take the time to make the gown so that it covered much but they added the extra time and material to puff the sleeves.
Congrats on the baby! I've been checking like crazy to hear the news! I TOTALY want to read the play by play and see more pictures of the sweet girl!

Congradulations! Your daughter is beautiful. I must say you really give me hope since I am newly expecting and a bit nervous. If possible I would love to see more pictures. I'm very happy for you and glad to hear you are doing so well.

Emi and I also struggled quite a bit getting nursing going but it is worth it to stick with it for sure! I would love to read Gloria's blog-- my email is allison.eccles@gmail.com.
Of course I don't mind. Congrats on your new member of the family. That is so exciting. Yeah those eggs were so fun, I can't believe the people who come up with these cute ideas. Hope all is going good with you and your cute little family.
