Halloween

Here is a sample of my dad's famous Jack-O-Lantern creations. I always look forward to Halloween to see what he will come up with next. We used to tease about Halloween that my dad's sinister nature came out. But actually, he loves to pass out generous amounts of chocolate to the neighborhood spooks more than anyone I know. Last year, we celebrated Halloween at my cousin Chris's house. My Aunt Sherry and Uncle Don love to create a haunted house to tease the grandkids. Don wore a "Death Mask" where "blood" flows over a skull. My nephew Jake (in his caterpillar costume) was really scared.

We love pumpkin carving too. Last year we did the Black Pearl from Pirates and played the music on the porch! I usually do several of the villians as well.

YAY! I'm glad someone else is as excited as I am about Halloween. A few more weeks, and I won't feel like such a dork decorating for it! I think you will love Washington! Once you get settled, we'll have to visit sometime. Seattle is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from us...much closer than Utah is! :)
